Mumbai: Two lakh or more new cases of corona infection have been registered daily in the last one week of corona infection in the country. Maharashtra remained India's worst affected region with 42,462 new cases and 23 deaths on Saturday. Karnataka overtook Delhi with 32,793 new cases and 7 deaths in a day. At least 30 people died from corona in Delhi on Saturday. The death toll from corona in Delhi has gone up to 228. Corona restrictions have been extended till January 31 due to an increase in the number of corona cases in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. More than 19,000 daily cases have been reported in Bengal on Saturday.
