A new study by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research suggests that corona infection is also an aerial infection, but the possibility of taking SARS-CoV-2 into the air is directly related to the number of corona infected cases in a room, their symptoms and the duration of the risk. The study shows that the chances of having a corona depend entirely on social distance and wearing masks.

At the same time, closed homes and hospitals, where there are many infected patients, are more likely to catch air infections. This can be explained that making corona and non-covid areas in hospitals is a successful strategy of hospitals to prevent infection. The infection does not spread from corona patients in neutral environment condition, especially if the patients are asimtomatic, it becomes easier to prevent the spread of the virus.

As a result of the study, air samples collected from various covid and non-covid areas of hospitals in Hyderabad and Mohali were tested to understand the air transmission of SARS-CoV from the rooms of corona patients. With the help of this, the possibility of risk was understood for health workers and those coming to hospitals. The study results show that the virus does not spread much in the air in neutral environment condition. Especially if the symptoms in the patient are low. When corona infected people spent less than 20 minutes in the room, the virus was not found even four feet away.
