Covid cases in the country have seen a slight decline. The country has seen 2,58,089 cases of covid between the last 24 hours. Daily cases have registered a 4 percent decrease compared to yesterday. The country has heard 2,71,202 cases of covid yesterday. At the same time, the total number of omicron cases in the country has increased to 8,209 in the last 24 hours. Omicron cases have increased by 6.02 per cent compared to yesterday. Covid has claimed 385 lives in the last 24 hours.

However, the figure of cases active in the country is constantly increasing. Active cases in the country have increased to 16,56,341, compared to 15,50,377 active cases in the country a day earlier. Active cases in the country currently constitute 4.43 per cent of the total cases, while the recovery rate has declined steadily over the past few days, down to 94.27 per cent at present.

The best thing between corona infections is the fast recovery of people. In the last 24 hours, 1,51,740 people have recovered, after which the total number of people recovering has increased to 3,52,37,461. At the same time, the daily positivity rate in the country has increased to 19.65 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate has gone up to 14.41.
