New Delhi: As corona havoc continues to increase in India, more than 2,500 cases were reported from across the country on Tuesday. It is a matter of relief that this number is 18.7 per cent less than yesterday. According to the Health Ministry, 2,568 corona cases have been found in the last 24 hours, while 20 more persons have lost their lives due to corona.
The highest number of patients were reported from Delhi (1076), Haryana (439), Kerala (250), Uttar Pradesh (193) and Karnataka (111). Of the new corona cases, 80.58 per cent have been reported from these 5 states. Delhi's share alone is 41.9 per cent. In the last 24 hours, there have been 20 deaths due to Corona. So far, 5,23,889 people have lost their lives due to corona in the country.
In the last 24 hours, 2911 patients defeated Corona. At present, the corona recovery rate in India is 98.74 per cent. Active patients in India have also decreased. The figure is now 19,137. That's 363 less than yesterday. The vaccine is the strongest weapon in the fight against Corona, so it is increasingly being administered to more and more people. In the last 24 hours, 16,23,795 vaccine doses have been administered. So far, more than 189 crore corona vaccines have been received in the country.
