New Delhi: According to a report released by the Union Health Ministry, 28204 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Within 24 hours, 373 persons died of the disease. With these new cases, 41,511 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With the new figure of healthy patients, the number of persons who have recovered from the disease across the country has gone up to 3,19,98,158. With the latest cases, the total number of cases of corona-infected persons across the country has gone up to 3,19,98,158.
The number of active cases was recorded at 3,88,508. The number of recovery cases after treatment of the disease was recorded at 3,11,80,968 and the total number of deaths was 4,28,682. In view of the potential crisis of the third wave of corona in the country, the testing process is also being speeded up in many states. According to the report, samples of 48,32,78545 people have been tested across the country till August 9. On Monday, 9th August, 15,11313 persons underwent the corona test in the last 24 hours.
On the one hand, while corona cases have come down in many states, the increasing number of patients in Kerala has left the country worried. On Monday, 13,049 new cases of corona infection were reported, after which the total cases increased to 35 lakh 65 thousand 574.
