Lucknow: Up to 393 new cases of covid were registered on Friday and 4 people lost their lives. In the capital Lucknow, the highest 90 cases were registered and one death took place. In the adjoining Delhi, 26 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours from the covid infection in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida. With this, the total number of cases of infection in the district has increased to 25,727. It has been made mandatory for all in the district to wear masks.

District Monitoring Officer Dr. Sunil Dayal said that 26 people have been freed from infection in 24 hours. 85 patients are being treated in various hospitals. So far, a total of 91 people have lost their lives in the district. In Noida, 7, 76327 people have been tested so far. Sampling has been increased in view of the increasing infection.

1415 new cases, 4 deaths in Gujarat: In Gujarat, 1415 new covid cases were registered on Friday and 4 persons died. In view of the sudden increase in the state, night curfew has been announced in cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot. As per the data till 7 pm on Friday, there are a total of 6147 case active cases in Gujarat. Vaccination has been intensified in the state. 2,45406 doses of vaccine are to be installed on Friday. So far, 26, 41905 people have been given first doses and 5, 84482 people have been given second doses.
