In his tweet, he wrote, "I feel pained n sorry to know that I have been misunderstood thru my tweet by few people. When I said Rich temples I meant temples of all gods of all religions. Not a particular one. It was purely a thought on the universal human ground. My apologies if anyone is hurt." He had raised a question from his Twitter handle that in this corona crisis, why did the temple not donate its gold. Subhash Ghai's tweet was like, 'Is this not the right time to visit the temples of God. As many rich temples and they have a lot of gold, they should themselves donate 90 percent of their gold to the government. This will help those poor, who are currently in trouble. Even the people have given money to the temple in the name of God. Subhash Ghai also tagged PMO in his tweet.
