New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 1396 new cases of Corona virus have been reported in the country's capital, Delhi, on Saturday, while the infection rate has increased to 31.9 percent, which is the highest in 15 months. In Delhi, on January 14, last year, the infection rate was recorded at 30.6 percent. In the last 24 hours, 5 patients have also died. However, according to the health bulletin issued by the Health Department, only 1 patient has died due to Corona; the initial cause of death for the other 4 is not COVID-19.

With the increase in the number of new patients, the number of active cases of corona has reached 4631 in the country's capital. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, after the arrival of new cases in Delhi, the total number of cases has increased to 20,21,593 and the death toll has increased to 26,560. Earlier, 1,527 new cases of Corona infection were reported in Delhi on Thursday, while the infection rate in the city was 27.77 percent.

During this time, 2 other people also lost their lives due to Corona virus infection in the city. According to the data shared by the Health Department, for the first time in 7 months, on Wednesday, for the first time in Delhi, the number of infected in a day crossed 1,000, and the rate of infection was 23.8 percent. There were 1,149 new cases of Covid in Delhi on Wednesday, while one person died due to infection.
