Second wave of corona hits Jammu and Kashmir, death toll rises

Jammu: The graph of deaths due to covid-19 infection in Kashmir has started increasing once again. In the last 24 hours, 2 people have died in Kashmir. So far 1971 people have died of a covid-19 infection in the state, in which 1242 have died from the Kashmir division. 73 new infected cases were found in this Madhya Pradesh, out of which 59 are from the Kashmir division. However, 80 infected patients have also been cured in various hospitals of the state. There are 74 patients from the Kashmir division.

There are 23 passengers in the total infected cases in the state on Friday. Srinagar has seen the highest number of 34 cases, of which 13 are passengers. No infected cases were found in 8 districts of the state. In this, Ramban is running free of cost from the Jammu division. There have been 9 infected cases in Jammu. No district in Kashmir is corona-free. So far, 463 people have died of corona in Srinagar.

Instructions to increase the scope of vaccine to private institutions: It has been learned that the government has instructed private medical institutions to increase the scope of the covid-19 vaccine. In this, people have been given the option to get vaccines at fixed rates at private institutions even on the government holiday, for which guidelines have been issued to medical institutions. Due to government holidays in the last two days, a large number of people reached the private institutions and took the vaccine. Five private medical institutions are being vaccinated in district Jammu, which is being expanded in a phased manner. In the second phase, vaccines are being given to senior citizens above 60 years and sick people above 45 years.
