Globally, the total number of cases of covid-19 has reached 8.39 crore, while deaths have exceeded 18.2 lakh. This information was given by Johns Hopkins College on Saturday. The college's Center for System Science and Engineering (CSSE) said in its latest update on Saturday morning that the current global cases and deaths are 83,957,701 and 1,827,121.

According to CSSE, America is the world's most covid-affected country, with a total of 20,128,359 cases and 347,787 deaths of covid-19 have been recorded so far. India ranks second with 10,286,709 cases of covid infection cases, while the country with 148,994 deaths from covid.

It is known that other countries with more than one million confirmed cases are Brazil (7,700,578), Russia (3,153,960), France (2,697,014), Britain (2,549,689), Turkey (2,220,855), Italy (2,129,376), Spain (1,928,265 ), Germany (1,762,504), Colombia (1,654,880), Argentina (1,629,594), Mexico (1,437,185), Poland (1,305,774), Iran (1,231,429), Ukraine (1,096,855), South Africa (1,073,887), and Peru (1,015,137).
