After the increase in the covid case in the country, the government is constantly considering restrictions. There are many states in the country, where after the weekend lockdown in some districts, now the complete lockdown has also come in. Apart from this, the measure of night curfew has been taken in many districts. Seeing the deteriorating covid situation across India, PM Narendra Modi also held discussions with the Chief Ministers of the states on Thursday. Understand here what is the situation in the states that decide the lockdown in the affected districts.
Gujarat: Here the High Court has said to impose lockdown in the state. After which the night curfew has been announced by April 30 in 20 major cities of the state. Night curfew is being imposed in 4 cities of Gujarat- Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot. Apart from this, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Gandhinagar, Anand, Nadiad, Morbi, Dahod, Patan, Godhra, Bhuj, Gandhidham, Bharuch, Surendranagar, and Amreli have also been included in the new order.
Rajasthan: Night curfew has been imposed from 8 am to 6 am in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Sagwara, Kushalgarh. These restrictions are going to continue till the next order.
Jammu and Kashmir: In addition to Jammu and Srinagar, 8 districts have come under the purview of the night curfew here on Thursday. Restrictions have been imposed in urban areas of Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Anantnag, and Kupwara districts.
