Dehradun: Three more COVID-19 infected patients died at the Government Doon Medical Hospital in Uttarakhand on Friday. It is being reported that these infected patients had other serious diseases besides COVID-19. Of the three infected who died, one was a resident of Suddowala in Dehradun and two were residents of Haridwar city.
The hospital administration will hand over the dead bodies to relatives and conduct the last rites with the help of the police. According to the information received, a 56-year-old woman resident of Suddowala, a family member, was admitted to Doon Hospital on 28 July. The woman died late Thursday during treatment. The dead body will be entrusted to relatives for the funeral.
A 62-year-old woman, a resident of Govardhanpur in Haridwar city, was brought to the Doon Hospital on July 31 by a family member in a critical condition. Seeing her critical condition, doctors had her admitted in the ICU. She was being treated under the supervision of expert doctors. The woman died late on Thursday. On the other hand, a Bhupatwala resident of Haridwar town had brought a 73-year-old family to the Doon Hospital on July 31 after the condition deteriorated. In view of her serious condition, the doctors had admitted to the ICU after starting primary treatment. The same elderly man also died on Thursday night. The number of infected people in the state is constantly increasing, and it is necessary that we protect ourselves.
