According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, due to this, 14 people have died due to the Corona virus in the country, due to which the death toll has increased to 5,30,943. Three patients have died from Maharashtra, two each from Karnataka and Rajasthan, one each from Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab, and one from Kerala. Due to this, the daily positivity rate has been recorded at 3.39 percent and the weekly positivity rate at 3.02 percent.
According to the portal of the Ministry of Health, at present, the total number of COVID cases in the country is 4.47 crore (4,47,45,104). Active cases now comprise 0.06 percent of the total infections, while the national COVID recovery rate has been recorded at 98.75 percent. At the same time, the number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 4,418,858, while the death rate has been recorded at 1.19 percent. According to the ministry's portal, 220.66 crore doses of the Corona vaccine have been given so far under the nationwide Covid vaccination campaign.
