Raipur: The corona epidemic has created a lot of panic across the country. Day by day, infected patients are found in big statistics. Meanwhile, 5,661 new corona cases were reported in Chhattisgarh. With this, the number of positive patients reached 10,91,868 in the state on Saturday. At present, 31181 patients are in an active condition in the State.

On Saturday, state health department officials said that 245 persons were discharged from the hospital Saturday while 4980 people completed their stay at home. Eleven more patients infected with the coronavirus died on Saturday. Officials said that among the patients reported on Saturday were 1789 from Raipur, 690 from Durg, 222 from Rajnandgaon, 99 from Balod, 65 from Bemetra, 35 from Kabirdham, 132 from Dhamtari, 102 from Balodabazar, 100 from Mahasamund, 14 from Gariaband, 331 from Bilaspur, 390 from Raigad, 196 from Korba, 294 from Janjgir-Champa, 181 from Mungeli, 19 cases from Gourela, Pendra, Marwahi, 122 from Sarguja, 62 from Korea, 99 from Surajpur, 20 from Balrampur, 62 from Jashpur, 102 from Bastar, 83 from Kondagaon, 119 from Dantewada, 105 from Sukma, 133 from Kanker, 36 from Narayanpur and 59 from Bijapur.

He also informed that 10,91,868 persons have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh so far, out of which 10,46,971 patients have been virus-free after treatment. 31181 patients are active in the state. So far 13,716 people have died infected with the virus in the state.
