Varanasi: On Friday, the corona patients at the Super Specialty Hospital of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) severely caused chaos. Corona patients created a ruckus in the hospital alleging disorder. The patients have also accused the hospital staff of scrambling to protest. After getting the information, the police reached the hospital somehow pacified the case.

Hospital administration is facing allegations of forcibly discharging the patient. The hospital staff has written a letter to MS and accused of assault and vandalism. At present, the police of Lanka police station area is investigating the case. 312 new cases of corona have been registered in Varanasi district on Friday. Apart from this, 2 patients have also died due to corona. The number of active cases of corona in the district has now increased to 1783.

On Friday, the highest number of 63 people died in UP from Corona. The number of dead has reached 1981. During the last 24 hours, 4404 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the state. Thus, there are 1,13,378 cases of corona infection in the state. On giving information, Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Information) Avnish Kumar Awasthi has said that the number of cases under treatment of infection is 44, 563 while 66, 834 people have been fully recovered and discharged from hospitals.
