Corona infection is spreading rapidly across the country. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has brought good news to the people of the state at this time of corona crisis. The Gehlot government has decided to treat corona infected patients free of cost in all private hospitals in the state under the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. The benefit of the scheme will be available to all eligible families added by the Collector of the district.

Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency CEO Aruna Rajoria has directed all city collectors to ensure that corona infected patients belonging to Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme are being treated free of cost in all private hospitals. The State Government has directed that strictest action will be taken against any hospital which refuses to treat all persons associated with the scheme.

After the permission of the same State Government, the Government has approved a new package for treatment of corona of valid families associated with Chiranjeevi Scheme in recognized hospitals for treatment of corona infected patient. The Government has issued strict instructions that strict action will be taken against the hospital which does not comply with these orders. The State Government has launched chiranjeevi scheme with with a statement dated 1st May, 2021. The Government has so far added more than 22 lakh families to the scheme.
