Big news: Civil hospital in Chandigarh will also treat corona patients, separate ward has been set up

Covid patients are now going to be treated at the Civil Hospital in Sector-45, Chandigarh. It has been started by Manoj Parida, Advisor, Chandigarh Administrator. So that covid infected patients can get treatment here also. A separate ward has been set up for infected patients in the hospital. The civil hospital has been made operational for covid patients as the continuous infected cases in the city have increased.

Nodal Officer has also been appointed by the administration in this regard. PCS Rakesh Kumar Popli has been appointed as the nodal officer. Whatever goods come from abroad as covid relief in the city will come free of cost to help the people. No tax will be levied on that.

6,292 people vaccinated: It has been revealed that 6,292 people have been vaccinated in the city on Saturday. According to information received from the Health Department, 2,40,891 people have been vaccinated so far. Out of which 21,516 health care workers have administered the first dose of the vaccine and 12,366 have been administered the second dose. 19,957 frontline workers have administered the first dose of the vaccine and 12,171 second doses. Between the ages of 45 and 60, 78, 449 have been administered the first dose of the vaccine and 10,049 have been administered the second dose. 60,036 people over the age of 60 have undergone the first dose of the vaccine and 26,347 second doses.
