New Delhi: More than 1500 new cases of covid have been seen in the capital Delhi for the third consecutive day. According to data released by the Delhi government's Ministry of Health, there have been 1,558 new covid case reports in the last 24 hours. Earlier, on 15 December 2020, 1,617 cases were reported in one day. After this, the total number of cases of covid so far has reached 6,55,834.
With this, the number of active patients of covid has crossed 6000 in Delhi. The current active patient figure is 6,625. This is the largest number of active patients since 27 December 2020. On December 27, there were 6,713 active patients. Also, the number of patients living in home isolation has increased to 3,708. Prior to this, there were 3,762 patients who were in home isolation on 25 December 2020.
According to the information received, the infection rate of covid also remains more than 1 percent. The current infection rate of Corona in Delhi is 1.7% and the rate of active covid patients is 1.01%. covid's death rate is 1.68 percent and covid's recovery rate is 97.31 percent. In the last 24 hours, 10 people have lost their lives, before that on January 23, the death toll was only 10. To date, the total number of deaths due to covid in Delhi has reached 10,997. In the last 24 hours, 974 patients have recovered from the corona. The figure of total patients cured has been 6,38,212. The total number of Containment Zones in Delhi currently stands at 1,506.
