New Delhi: Amid the slowing down of corona, 15,906 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The Union Health Ministry said that the active patients of corona in the country have now come down to 1,72,594 lakh. Meanwhile, 561 people died due to an epidemic in the country in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 16,479 people have overcome the infection and recovered. After which the number of people recovering from corona so far has gone up to 3,35,48,605 in the country. The Union Health Ministry said that the active patients of corona in the country have now come down to 1,72,594.
According to the same Indian Council of Medical Research, 13,40,158 samples were tested for corona infection in India yesterday. A total of 59,97,71,320 samples have been tested in the country since yesterday. India has crossed a milestone in the fight against corona infection, completing 1000 million doses of the corona vaccine. India made the impossible possible in just 10 months. The 100 crore vaccination dose of corona vaccine in a population of about 130 crores is a great success for the country. China is only ahead of India in terms of vaccination. So far 102.10 crore corona vaccine doses have been administered across the country. About 90 million people in the country are yet to be given a second dose of vaccine.
