New Delhi: The menace of the corona epidemic is still persisting across the country, while 18,346 new cases of coronavirus have been reported from across the country in the last 24 hours. While 29,639 patients have returned home from coronavirus over the last 24 hours, the number of people recovering from corona has gone up to 3,31,50,886 so far. The number of active cases in the country is currently 2,52,902, which is 0.75 per cent of the total cases. The Health Ministry said that the recovery rate in India has now gone up to 97.93 per cent.
Meanwhile, the Ministry reported that the daily positivity rate in India is 1.61 per cent, which is less than 3 per cent for the last 36 days. While the weekly positivity rate is 1.66 per cent, it has remained below 3 per cent for 102 days. State that 18,346 new cases of corona infection and 263 deaths in the last 24 hours in the country include 8,850 new cases and 149 deaths reported from Kerala.
During the last 24 hours, 263 patients have died across the country. With this, the death toll due to coronavirus in India has now gone up to 4,49,260. The total number of corona cases has gone up to 3,38,53,048. The Indian Council of Medical Research said that 11,41,642 samples were tested for corona infection in India on Monday, after which the number of sample testing in the country has now gone up to 57,53,94,042. The coronavirus has not been completely eliminated from all over the country so there is still a great need to take proper precautions.
