The corona epidemic has reduced the daily number of cases, but the crisis is yet to be completely averted. The Government and the Health Department are constantly calling for following the epidemic guidelines. Meanwhile, a shocking study of ICMR has come to light. According to the report received, most of the people who were infected even after the corona vaccination were infected with the delta variant of the corona.

However, the study also suggests that the mortality rate among vaccinated persons was very low. The study was conducted on about 677 persons. Out of these 677 persons who had received the vaccine, 71 persons had taken the Covaxin vaccine while the remaining 604 received the Covishield vaccine. Two of the participants had also taken the Chinese Sinoform vaccine. Three of them have also died. The ICMR study is based on people who took one or two doses of vaccine.

As per the study, 86.09% of the total infected persons are from delta variants. Were infected with B.1.617.2. 9.8% of those infected needed to be admitted to the hospital, while only 0.4% of cases heeded death. Through this study, it has been suggested that corona vaccination is necessary. In such cases, the chances of death are low and most of the persons do not even need to be admitted to the hospital. Expressing serious concern over the increasing number of coronavirus cases in states like Maharashtra and Kerala, PM Narendra Modi on Friday warned that a similar "trend" was seen in the months of January and February this year at the beginning of the second wave.
