People's negligence may push India to major threat, record-breaking infected cases again in 24 hours

New Delhi: India has registered 42,766 new cases of a novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours and 308 patients died due to infection. According to data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, the total recovery rate in the country is about 97.42 percent. The ministry data shows that the total active cases of corona in India increased to 4,10,048. The first death due to the corona epidemic in India was in March 2020.

 

 

With the increasing number of cases, the pace of vaccination has also been increased. According to the report, a total of 68.46 crore people have been given vaccine supplements under the vaccination drive. Active cases constitute 1.24 percent of the total cases. In India, 38,091 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. With this, the total recovery has increased to 3,21,38,092.

As per the data shared by the Union Health Ministry, about 53 crore persons of the total corona have been examined so far. Meanwhile, Kerala, which has been the highest number of infection cases in the last few days, has reported 29,682 cases and 142 deaths on Saturday, while the total positivity rate has declined slightly. The total number of affected people in the state has gone up to 41,81,137 and the death toll has gone up to 21,422. TPR stood at 17.54 percent as compared to 17.91 on Friday.
