Over 60,000 employees to get vaccine at Delhi International Airport

New Delhi: DIAL, a company operating the international airport in the country's capital Delhi, has announced the launch of corona vaccination centres for its users from Tuesday, June 1. The vaccination centre will be built at Terminal-1 of the airport. Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said in a statement on Monday that the facility is to provide an opportunity to the employees of DIAL as well as a total of 60,000 employees of other units related to different functions to get the vaccine easily.

According to the statement, employees of airlines, freight services, site service agencies, air-traffic control and other agencies will benefit immensely. The campaign will be carried out in close hands with Manipal Hospital. DIAL has tied up with Manipal Hospital to vaccinate airlines, cargo business, ground handling agencies and frontline airport staff of air traffic control.

The vaccination centre will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where a team of doctors will always be there and an ambulance for emergency. The company said the central government has included aviation services in priority areas. People working in this sector are being given priority in vaccination.
