New Delhi: In South Africa, the increasing mayhem of corona Omicron variants has cast a pall over team India's journey. In reality, starting December 17, Team India will play a Test series in South Africa. The South African Foreign Ministry has now issued a statement on the matter, promising to ensure a secure atmosphere for Team India.

The BCCI has also been congratulated by the South African Foreign Ministry since the India A team is still in South Africa and continuing to tour despite all the controversy. On Tuesday, the second India-A and South Africa-A matches will take place. The Indian team's trip to South Africa began on December 17 and will include three Test matches, three One-Day Internationals, and four Twenty20 Internationals. On December 8, Team India is slated to leave the country.

However, since the arrival of Corona's new Omicron model in South Africa, there has been a lot of conjecture surrounding the tour. The Indian government is also keeping a close eye on the visit and any incidents that occur in South Africa.
