In order to get relief from the long queues at tolls in India, the government last year required fastags on every car. On which now the special reaction of the people has come out. Recently, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has informed the total National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) in the month of July 2020. Under which more than 86 million people have transacted FASTag.

Let us tell you that a total of Rs 1623.30 crore has been collected from Fastag, while 81.92 million people had transacted Fastag in June last month. In which Rs 1511.93 crore was deposited. The interesting thing here is that NPCI has seen a 54 percent increase in FASTag transactions as compared to the last two months. It is clear from this that people are avoiding contact with each other due to Corona epidemic, and because of this people have used Fastag fiercely.

NPCI Chief Operating Officer Praveen Rai stated his opinion on the matter, stating that "We are happy to take NETC FASTag to new heights within just four years of its inception. The interoperability of the FASTag process has brought millions Has helped the vehicle owners to get a simple experience at the toll plaza. We are always trying to make the journey of customers safe and keep them contactless. We are confident that NETC FASTag will also enter many state highways in future. In addition, digital contactless toll payment facility will be available in future for the city's toll plazas and parking lots. "
