Guwahati: The number of corona infected patients is continuously setting new records in eight states including Sikkim in the northeast. Due to which the vulnerability of this epidemic can be understood in the northeastern regions. However, the rate of healthy patients is also increasing rapidly. While the rapidly growing new cases remain a headache of the government. Assam has recorded the highest number of cases in the Northeast, while Tripura and Manipur in the third place.

There have been 1862 new cases in the Northeast during the last 24 hours. In this way, the total number of infected people is 54,903. Out of which 38,852 patients have been recovered. In the last 24 hours, a total of 1232 patients have fully recovered. However, 15884 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. 140 patients have lost their lives, while 03 patients have gone out of the Northeast.

The number of new patients in Assam is 1457. The total number of patients in the state has been 41,727. However, 31443 patients have recovered. 1085 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. At the same time, treatment of 10180 patients is going on in various hospitals. Meanwhile 101 patients have died and 03 patients have gone out of state.
