Mumbai: The market opened with a fall on the first trading day of the week i.e. Monday. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) major index Sensex opened 1070.59 points, or 3.59 per cent, at 28745 levels. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty fell 284.65 points, or 3.29 percent, to open at the level of 8375.60.

Talking about the big stocks, shares of TCS, Nestle India, Asian Paints, HCL Tech, Axis Bank, UPL, Wipro and NTPC opened today. IndusInd Bank, ONGC, UPL, Sun Pharma, Vedanta Ltd, M&M and JSW Steel opened in the red.
Condom sales increased during lockdown, shortage in market
On Friday, there was a decline in American markets in Friday's business. The Dow Jones and other markets appeared under pressure. The Dow Jones was down 4.06 percent or 915.39 points to close at 21,636.80. The Nasdaq Composite closed 3.79 percent down at 7,502.38. The S&P was broken 3.37 per cent and was at 2,541.47 points. On the other hand, in the Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei was trading down by more than four per cent. Also Hangseng, Kospi, and Taiwan indexes were trading on the decline.
