Washington: Coronavirus, born in large metros, is now spreading to villages and forests. The Coronavirus has caught 60 tribes in the Amazon region of Brazil. So far 980 cases have been registered here and 125 deaths have taken place. Not only this, the officials say that basic health facilities are also not available in the Amazon area.

It has been five months since Corona came into existence, but its medicine has not yet been made. Corona has so far infected more than 5.5 million people around the world and nearly three and a half lakh have lost their lives due to it. Officials have reported that corona infection is spreading rapidly in the Amazon region. The death rate from Corona in the Amazon region is 12.6%, while the death rate from Corona in Brazil is 6.4%.

There are about nine million people of the tribal community in Brazil who live in villages surrounded by forest. The first tribe person died in April in Amazon, its age is said to be 15 years. The government is ascertaining how these tribal communities came in contact with outsiders and how many Corona cases have occurred here.
