New Delhi: Corona infection patients are recovering rapidly in the country. According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of people recovering from corona in India has crossed 27 lakh. In the last 24 hours, 64,935 people have recovered from Corona. 3.55 times more people have been cured than active cases of corona infection. The recovery rate of corona in India has been 76.61 percent and its death rate has been reduced to 1.79 percent.

Test of corona infection has also been increased in India. Moving towards the goal of testing one million samples every day, a total of 4 crore 14 lakh 61 thousand 636 samples have been tested in India so far. The patients are recovering fast due to emphasis on investigation, search for contacts and treatment. There is a huge decrease in the number of serious patients. The country has achieved the feat of conducting more than one million sample tests, while the facility to test samples in India was only in a laboratory in Pune at the time of corona infection. Today, corona tests are being done in more than one and a half thousand laboratories.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of investigations per million population has increased to 29,280. The rate of corona infection has come down to 8.57 percent. There has been a drastic reduction in the number of serious patients. At the moment only 0.29 percent of the patients are on ventilator. Whereas, 1.93 percent patients are admitted in ICU and 2.88 percent patients are on oxygen support.
