The famous musician and guitarist Matthew Seligman, who made a place in the hearts of millions of people with his music, has passed away. He was 64 years old. He was infected with the Coronavirus. Matthew Seligman was a member of the famous rock bands The Soft Boys and The Thompson Twins. His old friend and musician Robin Hitchcock via social media informed about his death. Robin Hitchcock shares an old picture of Matthew Seligman and other friends, writing emotional posts on his death. In this post, he wrote, "I am writing about the fact that Matthew Seligman is no more among us. He has slept forever. Everyone has to go from this world but we did not think that suddenly Matthew will leave us".

Matthew Seligman's old band member Thomas Dolby also mourned his death on Facebook. He told in his post that, 'Matthew Seligman was admitted to a hospital after being infected with Covid-19. It is difficult for me to bear this terrible news. I have loved him as a friend and a fellow musician for 40 years."

Matthew Seligman performed in 1985 with live music icon David Bowie in Live Aid. He was a part of The Soft Boys Band in the 70s. After this, he also joined  Can of Bees (1979).
