He said that people should take this deadly disease seriously and take maximum precautions because even developed countries like America are not able to stop the spread of this disease despite the best resources and technology.

In his statement, the Minister of State for Home said that about 15.24 lakh people were screened at various airports. About 69,436 people have been advised to stay in quarantine at home and are being treated by medical and para-medical authorities.
