Srinagar: According to doctors in Kashmir, the rising corona cases in Kashmir are pointing to the third wave. The administration is also imposing a corona ban considering it to be the knock of the third wave. Under these restrictions, 22 areas of Srinagar have been declared as red zones and people of these localities have been banned from coming and going.

According to Srinagar SDM Owais Ahmed, corona cases are increasing very fast in 22 out of about 88 zones in the Srinagar district. He said, barricades have been installed in these areas as red zones. However, he said that it was due to negligence on the part of the people that the corona cases are once again on the rise. Corona patients have also started increasing in other parts of Kashmir. Though Jammu is now afraid of the knock of the third wave of the corona, it is similar to Kashmir in negligence. FIR is being registered against the crowd in the markets and those roaming without masks, but people are still not accepting it.

In Srinagar itself, FIR has been registered in 17 such cases in a week, while thousands of people across Kashmir have been fined crores of rupees so far. About 125 people have also been arrested. Even after all this, the administration now says that they cannot stop the third wave from coming, as negligence is going to be troublesome.
