More than 50,000 infected cases reported in the last 24 hours, corona outbreak is not ending in the country

New Delhi: The total number of infected cases has gone up to 3,02,33,183 in the last 24 hours after 50,040 new corona cases were received from the country. Also, the total number of deaths has increased to 3,95,751 after 1,258 new deaths. According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of recoveries after recovery of 57,944 people has gone up to 2,92,51,029. The country is witnessing a steady decline in corona cases.

Active cases are also continuously decreasing in the country. The total active cases have gone up to 5,86,403, while the recovery rate has increased to 96.75 per cent. The Health Ministry said active cases of corona virus are 1.94 percent of the total cases and the daily positivity rate is 2.82 percent. The corona vaccine is now being administered in the country as per the central government's male guidelines. Under this, free corona vaccine is being administered to all adults above 18 years of age in the country. In the last 24 hours, 64,25,893 corona infection vaccines have been administered, after which the total number of vaccinations in the country has increased to 32,17,60,077.

The previous day, on June 26, 48,698 new corona cases were reported in the country. Thereafter, the total number of infected cases had increased to 3,01,83,143. The total number of deaths had increased to 3,94,493 in the last 24 hours after 1,183 new deaths. At present, the number of active corona cases in the country is 5.95 lakh, out of which 2.27 lakh are from only 20 districts of the country. Maharashtra and Kerala alone account for 44 per cent of these 2.27 lakh active cases. The report says that Bangalore Urban in Karnataka topped with 67,681 active cases, followed by Kamrup Metro (15,139 cases) in Assam, Ernakulam (11,903) in Kerala and Mumbai Suburban (11,823) and Kolhapur (9,653) in Maharashtra.
