Corona cases continue to decrease, less than 45000 infected cases reported in 24 hours

New Delhi: The country continues to see corona cases decreasing. In the last 24 hours, new cases have been reported near Corona to 42. On the other hand, 722 persons died of corona. The figures were the lowest on other days except monday. However, the death figures did not see a decline. Jharkhand's data from large states has not been added at present. The comparative numbers globally (for July 2) show that Brazil saw a decline and a slightly lower number of cases were registered than the country.

It has again pushed India from number one place in the world to another. At the national level, Kerala has topped the list of highest number of cases with 12,456 cases. This was followed by 9,489 cases in Maharashtra. Tamil Nadu had a slightly higher number of cases than 4,000, while Andhra Pradesh and Odisha registered less than 3,000 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

More than 1,000 cases were registered in other states on Saturday, including Assam, Karnataka and West Bengal. Less than 100 cases were registered in Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat, Nagaland, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. More than 100 deaths reported by three states. With 153, Maharashtra topped the list followed by Kerala and Tamil Nadu with 135 and 115 deaths.
