The number of people died due to epidemic Corona has reached five thousand. Due to the new cases coming out of the records in the last few days, the number of infected people has also exceeded one lakh. Fast growing cases in states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat as well as Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana and Karnataka have spoiled the mathematics of the entire country. According to the Union Health Ministry, 7,964 new cases have been received in the country in the last 24 hours while 265 people have died. The number of people who have died so far from the epidemic has been 4,971 while the number of infected has increased to 1,73,763.

According to the information received from the states about the coronavirus till seven in the evening, the highest deaths in the last 24 hours is 99 in Maharashtra, 27 in Gujarat, 18 in Delhi, 9 in Rajasthan, 7 in Bengal, 6 in Tamil Nadu and Haryana, Chhattisgarh, 1 each in Karnataka and Kerala. The number of new cases has increased in Maharashtra after the last two-three days. 2,940 new cases have been reported. On May 22, there were 2,940 new cases. This is the second largest number of new cases in a day. Earlier on May 25, the highest number of 3,041 cases were found. The number of infected in the state has increased to 65,168. More 1,084 people have recovered in the state and the number of people recovering has increased to 28,081.

The capital Delhi is on its way to become Mumbai. New cases are increasing rapidly every day. The number of new cases has been increasing continuously for the last three days. On Saturday, 1,163 new cases were found. Whereas, 1,106 were found infected on Friday and 1,024 on Thursday. The number of infected has increased to 18,549. Delhi has reached the third place after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu in terms of maximum number of infections. A record 938 cases have also been reported in Tamil Nadu and the number of patients has increased to 21,184. So far 160 people have died in the state.
