Today, 22,842 new cases of the virus have been reported amid the slowing down of corona in the country. In the last 24 hours, 25,930 people have overcome the infection and recovered. After which the number of people recovering from corona so far has gone up to 3,30,94,529 in the country. The Union Health Ministry said that the active corona patients in the country have now come down to 2,70,557 lakh, the lowest number in the last 199 days. So far, 90,51,75,348 people have been vaccinated in the country. In the last 24 hours, 244 patients in the country have lost their lives due to the epidemic.

According to ICMR, 12,65,734 samples were tested for corona infection in India yesterday. A total of 57,32,60,724 samples have been tested so far. Coming to the states, Mizoram has reported 1,276 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours and 1 death from the corona. At present, there are a total of 97,732 cases in the state. Of which active cases are 16,153. So far, a total of 81,262 persons have been discharged after recovering from the epidemic.

A total of 81,262 virus deaths have been reported in the state so far. Between 22,842 new corona cases and 244 deaths, Kerala reported 13,217 cases yesterday and 121 deaths were caused by epidemics. West Bengal has received 761 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours, 743 people recovered after beating the epidemic and 9 people died of the corona. At present, there are a total of 7,43,819 cases in the state. Of which active cases are 4,713. So far, a total of 7,20,487 persons have been discharged after recovering from the epidemic.
