New Delhi: 41,383 new corona cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. 507 persons died due to coronavirus. On the other hand, 38,652 patients have recovered from corona, after which the total number of persons recovered from corona has gone up to 3,04,29,339. According to data released by the Health Ministry, the total corona cases have now increased to 3,12,57,720.

The same Medical Research Council of India said that 17,18,439 samples were tested for corona infection in the country yesterday, a total of 45,09,11,712 samples have been tested since yesterday. So far, 41,78,51,151 persons have been vaccinated. The Health Ministry said that the total number of active cases in the country is 4,09,394. The death toll from corona has reached 4,18,987 so far. Last day, 42,015 new corona cases were reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, when it comes to death figures, 3,998 deaths were recorded today. However, such an increase in death figures was due to updating of old deaths in Maharashtra on the portal. 3,509 old deaths were updated in the state, while only 147 people lost their lives due to corona last day. There is a concern in India over the possible third wave of the corona. The State Governments are also constantly gearing up. Governments in many states say they are fully prepared to face the third wave.
