Chandigarh: 43 more patients have been admitted on Monday in the midst of increasing cases of Covid-19 in Punjab. The number of people who died of Covid-19 in the state has gone up to 1129. Out of 13,798 patients admitted in various hospitals of the state, the condition of 465 patients is still critical. Of these, 414 patients are on oxygen support and 51 patients are on ventilators.

Meanwhile, 1516 new cases of COVID have also been reported during the last 24 hours, with which the number of Covid-19 victims in the state has increased to 43,284. On the other hand, on Monday, 1829 patients have been sent back home after recovering. The number of those who beat Covid-19 in the state has increased to 28357. According to the Health Department, 11 people died in Ludhiana, 8 in Mohali, 6 in Jalandhar, 4 in Gurdaspur, 3-3 in Kapurthala, Mansa and Patiala and 1-1 corona patients in Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, Nawanshahar and Sangrur. 

35 new positive cases found in Hoshiarpur, one died: Report of 1433 samples in Hoshiarpur has been received on Monday. In which 35 new positive cases have been revealed. On Monday, the total number of deaths in the district has so far reached 30 due to the death of a patient suffering from Covid-19. Civil Surgeon Dr Jasbir Singh has told that 35 cases have been reported from Hoshiarpur, out of which 4 cases are from Hoshiarpur, 4 from Basant Bihar, Narada Hospital, Guru Gobind Singh Nagar and New Fatehgarh.

Apart from this, 2 from Dasuha, 3 from Mukerian, 7 from Garhshankar, 3 from Chakkowal, 3 from Sikri, 1 from Tanda, 6 from Jhingad Kalan, 1 from Mehtabpur, 1 from Baghiari, 1 from Bhawanipur people tested positive for covid19. While the deceased Gorsia resident, Ludhiana, had already been admitted due to suffering from some disease.
