France reported 18,870  corona cases in the last 24 hours. With the addition of these cases, The coronavirus case tally amounts to 3,360,235. 

According to a statement of the country's national public health agency, the death toll from the novel coronavirus disease in France has topped 80,000. A total of 439 people with COVID-19 have died in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall death count to 80,147. The coronavirus case tally since the pandemic started in France amounts to 3,360,235, including more than 18,870 in the past day alone.
The corona vaccination started in France on December 27, 2020. According to Health Ministry data, more than 1.9 million people have been vaccinated. French authorities expect 70 million people to be vaccinated by August.

Meanwhile,Coronavirus cases rise unabated across the globe, with more than 107.4 million infected by the deadly contagion. While 79,428,653 have recovered, 2,348,727 have died so far. The US remains the worst-hit country with 27,793,890, followed by India, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom.
