New Delhi: When corona infection is wreaking its havoc in China, the infection situation in India remains under control. In the last 24 hours, 201 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the country. During the same period, 183 people managed to conquer the infection. The total number of people who have recovered from corona infection in India has now reached 4,41,42,791.  

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am today, the number of active cases of corona in the country is now 3,397, which is 0.01 percent of the total cases. Corona's recovery rate in India is 98.8 percent, the daily positivity rate is 0.15 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 0.14 percent. So far, a total of 90.97 crore samples have been tested for Covid in the country. Corona test of 1,36,315 samples has been done in the last 24 hours. Under the nationwide corona vaccination in India, a total of 220.04 crore doses of vaccine have been administered so far. This also includes 95.12 crores second dose and 22.36 crore booster dose.

The situation in China has become uncontrollable due to Corona. According to the report, on Tuesday last, 3 crore 70 lakh new cases were reported here in a single day. However, only 3 thousand cases were reported on this day in the official figures. According to this report, 248 million people have been infected with coronavirus in China in the first 20 days of this month. Earlier in January, 40 lakh corona patients were found in one day. Human rights activist Jennifer Zheng, who monitors China and its Communist Party, has posted a video, in which it is seen that people are being given drip by tying ropes on the streets. Due to the lack of beds in hospitals, people have to be treated on the streets. Significantly, a similar picture went viral on Friday as well, in which children were found to have drip while studying in a classroom in China.
