New Delhi: India's capital Delhi and its surrounding areas have once again started to see an even faster rise in the number of cases of the Covid pandemic. In Delhi, teachers and students were infected with covid infection in a private school on Thursday, after which other students were sent on leave. AAP MLA Atishi has said that she is keeping a close watch on the case.
Prior to this, many cases of the Covid virus are being heard in Noida adjoining Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 15 children have been found to be Covid infected in Noida, after which the concerns of parents have started increasing. The Noida administration was sending a total of 68 samples for genome sequencing. The children who tested positive in Noida are said to be below the age of 18 years. Meanwhile, 44 new cases of Covid infection have been reported in the last 24 hours across Noida. Before Delhi, the schools in NCR have also given corona squad. In Ghaziabad and schools, many schools have been closed after students and teachers were infected with corona. A total of 23 students were shifted to online mode after 3 schools in Noida were infected with corona.
In an advisory issued by Gautam Budh Nagar CMO Dr Sunil Sharma, the schools have been asked to inform their students immediately in case of any suspected Covid case. Schools have been directed to immediately call the helpline number 1800492211 if any student has complaints like cough, fever, vomiting, or diarrhoea and inform the CMO office.
