According to the NITI Aayog report, 50 million or 5 crore people have downloaded the Arogya Setu mobile app in 13 days. Within 24 hours of the Prime Minister's address to the country, this app was downloaded by 11 million users. Actually, PM Modi while addressing the country had appealed to download the Arogya Setu mobile app. On the other hand, it is also believed that PM Modi's appeal has the effect that so far 5 crore people have downloaded this Coronavirus tracking app on their smartphones.

As soon as you open the app, the app will tell whether you are at risk of infection with the coronavirus. Scrolling down in this app will get a tweet from the Ministry of Health. Regarding data privacy, the government has said that the data of the Arogya Setu app will be fully encrypted.
