The lockdown in India has been extended to 17 May, given the increasing impact of the corona infection. Also, the states of the country are divided into Red, Green and Orange zones. According to the new guidelines of the Government of India, the sale of non-essential goods in the Green and Orange zones will begin on the e-commerce site from tomorrow, ie, May 4. This means that now people will be able to buy from smartphones to smart TVs and fridges from tomorrow. Apart from this, retail stores will also be opened in these zones.

Government's new guideline
According to the new guidelines of the Government of India, delivery of non-essential goods will begin on May 4 on the e-commerce site. Along with this, sales related work will be done in the areas of Green and Orange zones from 7 am to 7 pm only.

Red zone areas did not get permission
According to the new guideline, there will be no delivery of non-essential goods in the Red Zone of the country. Only essential goods will be delivered to the people in these areas. On the other hand, experts believe that this move of the government will bring India's economy back on track.

These cities come in the red zone
The Red Zone includes cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Online delivery of non-essential goods will not be done in the Red Zone areas of these cities. Also, e-commerce companies are estimated to have sales of up to 60 per cent.

Offline stores will be open
The Government of India has stated that some retail stores will be opened in the Green and Orange zones. These include smartphone stores. Also, people will be able to buy smartphones through these stores.
