Covid-19 continues to wreak havoc in the country. So far in India, about 28 lakh people have been affected by the coronavirus and more than 52 thousand people have died. In one day 64,531 new patients of Corona appeared and 1092 people died.
According to the latest data of the Health Ministry, 27 lakh 67 thousand 274 people become corona positive so far in India. Of these, 52,889 people have died. The number of active cases has gone up to 6 lakh 76 thousand and 20 lakh 37 thousand 870 people have been cured. According to ICMR, till August 18, a total of 3 crore 17 lakh 42 thousand 782 samples were tested for coronavirus, out of which 8 lakh 1 thousand 518 samples were tested yesterday.
The Health Ministry said on Tuesday that every day of Corona has seen a drop in the number of new cases and deaths due to the patient since August 13. The ministry warned against any laxity and said that the five-day decline is a short period in the context of the epidemic. However, after the claims of the Ministry, once again, more than 64 thousand new cases have been reported. Bhushan said that since August 13, the number of new cases has been reduced from around 64 thousand to 55,079. There is a downward trend in this but in the context of an epidemic, 5 days is a short period and there is no place for control, investigation and vigilance.
