To prevent coronavirus, the Himachal government has banned all types of examinations and practicals in all classes till 31 March. Principal Secretary Education KK Pant issued a written order on Saturday stating that till March 31, there will be no examination and practical for any class. In addition to this, orders will be applicable to colleges and universities besides schools.
According to the orders of the Education Department, all the teachers will be on leave till 31 March. All teachers have been appealed to stay at home during this period, while Principal Secretary Education said that only those teachers, headmaster, and principal can come to the schools who are looking after administrative work. They may also have to follow the guidelines issued by the Health Department.

Principal Secretary Education said that if the District Deputy Commissioner wishes, the services of teachers can be taken in the programs being run to prevent the coronavirus. The education department has also canceled the evaluation of answer books of all classes till 30 March.
