Due to Coronavirus, Ranjan Shahi has postponed the launch of his new show Anupama and his long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will be on air for an hour till the situation becomes normal. On the order to stop the shooting of the show, he said, "I completely agree with such a decision. In today's time, prevention is the biggest defense. I have refused to let people in my family be more social. Why would I not ask my other family to do this unit?"
