Every day in the grip of this virus people are also losing their lives. The death toll has started increasing all over the country. In the midst of all this, 47 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Chhattisgarh on Sunday, with which the total number of infected in the state reached 494. A health department official said that in the new cases that have come up, most of the patients are migrant laborers.

Regarding this, he said that out of these, 18 patients in Mahasamund district, 16 in Jashpur, five in Korba, three in Raipur and two in Bilaspur, while one patient each appeared in Kanker, Balod and Rajnandgaon. On this, the officer said that most of these are migrant laborers who have come back from different parts of the country to their home district and they were kept in isolation or many people have come in contact with them.

According to sources, in the first day, 11 patients were discharged from two hospitals in Raipur after getting healthy. The official said that 114 Covid-19 patients have been cured in the state so far, while 379 are under treatment and one patient has died.
