Dehradun: 1115 new patients of COVID-19 infection have been reported in Uttarakhand on Saturday. The total infected patients have now figured to be 30336. 603 COVID-19 infected patients have been sent home after treatment today. 290 patients have been found in Dehradun. So far, 20031 patients have been healthy in the state, while the figure of active patients is 9781. 14 infected patients have died in the state today. The death toll in the state has gone up to 402.

On the other hand, COVID-19 of BJP MLA Umesh Sharma Kau from Raipur in Dehradun has been found infected. According to the information, the COVID-19 test was conducted after deteriorating health, which has been reported positively. After the same report came positive, MLA has isolated himself. MLA has urged the stakeholders on his social media account. In the past week, all the supporters who have come to their contact are taking precautions.

 54 inmates test positive for corona at Nainital district headquarters today. Individuals tested positive include prisoners from the age of 18 to 73 years. The Nainital district jail has been set up as a quarantine centre to keep the newly undertrial prisoners of Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar cities for 14 days. COVID-19 of detainees are tested during this period. On September 9, 73 detainees were tested for COVID-19, out of which 53 prisoners were found to be covid-19 positive. With this, corona cases in the state are constantly increasing.
