Dehradun: More than 10 infected people have died in one day from COVID-19 after a week in the state. Within the last 24 hours, 12 infected people have died and 413 infected cases have been reported. The number of total infected has crossed 62 thousand. According to the Health Department, 11750 samples were found negative on Saturday. While 413 individuals have been exposed to COVID-19 infection.
In the city of Dehradun, a maximum 96 corona patients have been found. 65 in Rudraprayag, 52 in Pauri, 45 in Tehri, 33 in Haridwar, 32 in Nainital, 29 in Chamoli, 20 in Uttarkashi, 17 in Udhamsingh Nagar, 11 in Bageshwar, 9 in Almora, 3 in Pithoragarh, 1 in Champawat have been found Covid infected. There have been 12 deaths in the state. 5 patients at AIIMS Rishikesh, 3 at Doon Medical College, 1 at Mahant Indresh Hospital, 1 at Sena Hospital, 2 patients at Sushila Tiwari Medical College Haldwani have undergone treatment during treatment. The death toll in the state has reached 1023. 152 infected were discharged. These 56923 infected have become healthy.
More than 1 million samples have been tested in 231 days of the Corona crisis in the state. 8770 people are being tested per lakh population. Samples have been tested in 45% in 9 hilly cities and 55% in 4 plain cities. Currently, more than 14 thousand samples sent for the test are pending. An undertrial detainee admitted for the treatment of Corona from Pithoragarh city hospital escaped and the policemen posted in his security did not even notice it. However, he was taken into custody after nearly 12 and a half hours by the police.
