Dehradun: COVID-19 infected patients are increasing at a speed as sample tests increase in the country's state of Uttarakhand. More than 2,000 active patients have been reported in the state within the last one week. The figure of active patients in the erstwhile has been 8500. Patients who are healthy are slow in terms of newly infected cases. Dehradun city is at the forefront of infected patient, active and mortality rate.

The COVID-19 virus has gone unchecked in four plains of Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital in the state. These cities are getting the highest COVID-19 patients per day. The figure of infections in Dehradun city has crossed 6,000. While more than 3700 patients have been healthy. More than 2100 active patients are being treated. In Haridwar, the infected patients have grown to more than 58 hundred. More than 4300 patients have been healthy.

Haridwar city ranks second in infected and active cases. The figure of infections in Udham Singh Nagar city is going to be five thousand. More than 3500 patients have been healthy. The number of infections in Nainital city has gone up to over 35 hundred. More than 2300 patients have been healthy. With the increase in the number of COVID-19 patients per day in the state, the government has increased the filing of home isolation. Now COVID-19 infected pregnant woman or woman giving birth to baby and newborn will also get home isolation facility. With this, corona cases in the state are continuously increasing.
